A Day In The Life, Part 1, A Golf Cart’s Tale

Why should you rent a golf cart on Anna Maria Island?

Renting a golf cart on Anna Maria Island is part of the FUN of being on vacation!
With a golf cart you can fully enjoy the island lifestyle. Plus not worry about getting sand in your car.
Pile in our street legal golf cart and let the breeze blow in your hair while you relax and explore our 7 miles of paradise.

What are the regulations for riding and renting a golf cart?

We take our guests safety as a top priority! When we deliver your street legal golf cart we will meet you and go over how to drive the golf cart and the restrictions on golf cart driving while on the beautiful island.

Who can drive a golf cart?
Anyone who is 25 or older with a valid driver’s license and insurance.

Where can I drive a golf cart?
You can go anywhere on Anna Maria Island! Since our carts are street legal you can drive through the cities of Anna Maria, Holmes Beach, and Bradenton Beach. Due to the high speeds you cannot go over any of the bridges.
Our golf carts also can be parked in any parking spots and all beach accesses. Due to the marine life and fragile ecosystem on our beaches golf carts are not allowed on the actual beaches. If you have a loved one that needs help navigating the sand on the beach we have beach wheelchairs for rent!

What are the laws for children in a golf cart?
Driving a golf cart is just like being in a car for that reason anyone who is 5 and under must be in a car seat. We can provide you with a free car seat per golf cart. If you need any additional car seats we do have those for rent as well! If any child is not in a car seat it may result in a ticket.

What types of golf carts do you have?
We have both gas and electric.

What are the differences between the gas and electric?
The gas have 150 miles to the tank so they do last quite a long time. They are nosier, if you or someone in your party are sensitive to sound then this one might not be the best choice for you. We do recommend that if you plan on using your cart as a main source of transportation or using it to tour around the island then the gas would be best for you.
Electric golf carts are quieter and you get 1.5 hours of solid driving time. Once they are completely dead they take 8-10 hours to charge again. We do recommend charging whenever not in use.
